Green production and energy efficiency standards for electromagnetic heating equipment have been officially released, establishing guidelines for material selection, manufacturing processes, and energy efficiency metrics, and guiding the development of products such as induction cookers and multi-burner stoves toward a low-carbon and environmentally friendly direction.
To promote green and low-carbon development in the electromagnetic heating industry, relevant authorities have jointly formulated and released green production and energy efficiency standards for electromagnetic heating equipment. The standards clearly specify material selection requirements for induction cookers, multi-burner stoves, and high-power kitchen equipment, promoting low-carbon materials such as recyclable metals and eco-friendly insulating materials while restricting the use of highly polluting and energy-intensive materials. For production processes, green technologies including lead-free soldering and energy-saving coating are required to reduce energy consumption and waste emissions during manufacturing. In terms of energy efficiency indicators, minimum thermal efficiency thresholds are set: no less than 90% for household induction cookers and no less than 92% for commercial multi-burner stoves and high-power equipment, with strict limits on standby power consumption and electromagnetic radiation. After implementation, the industry will gradually phase out low-efficiency and highly polluting products, guiding enterprises to increase R&D investment and improve product environmental performance. Meanwhile, the standards provide a basis for market supervision, regulate industry competition, and drive the transformation of the electromagnetic heating industry from scale expansion to high-quality, low-carbon, and standardized development.
